Louise Sauvage OAM is an Australian paralympic athlete. She is often regarded as the most renowned disabled sportswoman in Australia. She has won gold, silver medals at Paralympic games, won four Boston Marathons, and holds world records. She was Australian Female Athlete of the Year in 1999, and International Female Wheelchair Athlete of the Year in 1999 and 2000.

This is one of four SuperCat Class vessels that operate in the Harbour. They were purchased in 2000/01, and were built by Australian Defence Industries at Garden Island. Their names were chosen by winners of public competitions.
