The Sydney RiverCats are a class of catamarans purchased from NQEA Australia, in Cairns, between 19992 and 1995. They operate the Parramatta River services, replacing the First Fleet class ferries, allowing services to be extended to Parramatta wharf. All seven were named after famous Australian female athletes.
